ESPN College Pick Em Picks For Week 12

I still made my ESPN College Pick Em picks last week, but I didn’t get a chance to post them here. Those vacations just get in the way of important things, such as fantasy games!

I missed my ten point game. Thank you very much, Texas.

This looks like another tough week on tap. I really don’t think that there is any one game that I am that confident in. Still, these are ranked from most confidence (10) to least (1) for those of you that play the confidence version of the game like I do.

10: Duke over Virginia Tech: Injuries have derailed the Hokies’s season. Their defense will keep it close, but they don’t have the offense to win this.

9. Clemson over Georgia Tech: Clemson’s strength is their front seven, so the GT option could have some trouble getting going. If they fall behind early, this gets ugly.

8. Texas A&M over Missouri: The Missouri defense is solid, but the offense is a disaster.

7. North Carolina over Pittsburgh: This could be a shootout, and if it is, that heavily favors the Tarheels. Conner will get his yards, but I just don’t see Pitt stopping that offense.

6. Oklahoma State over Texas: When in doubt, go with the home team. That, and I still don’t believe in the Texas offense.

5. Nebraska over Wisconsin: The Badgers are playing well lately, but as the old adage goes, when you have two quarterbacks, you have none. If Wisconsin is put in a position where they need to throw, they are in trouble. I just think Nebraska is a more well-rounded team.

4. LSU over Arkansas: The Piggies almost took out a much better LSU team last year. I still like the way LSU has played lately though. They really could have beaten Bama.

3. Miami over Florida State: I know I will get crucified for this, but I don’t care. This game is on the road, and the Seminoles have not played a really good game all year. Duke Johnson can get yards against this defense, and Brad Kaaya has been outstanding lately. Miami is playing better than FSU right now, and I think they get this done at home. What better way to announce that you are back?

2. Georgia over Auburn: Todd Gurley will be very well rested, and Auburn’s brutal schedule is catching up with them. UGA losing to the Gators was a wake up call. That and Auburn’s defense has been gouged lately. The cannibalization of the SEC on itself continues!

1. Mississippi State over Alabama: Honestly, this one If Alabama can frustrate Prescott, they win. If the Bulldogs can play great defense, they win. This is just a gut feeling.
