Fantasy Basketball: FanDuel Lineups For November 13th

It is a light day in FanDuel today for you NBA players. There are only four games on tap, which means finding those bargains are all the more important.

Point Guards:

Bargain:

Devin Harris, Mavericks (4.6 million): Ray Felton is still out, and Jameer Nelson will be limited with his hamstring injury. Harris is one of the safest cheap plays on a light day.

Worth The Cost:

Stephen Curry, Warriors (9.9 million): He has only failed to top 35 fantasy points once all season. He is remarkably consistent for the money.

Overpriced:

Derrick Rose, Bulls (7.7 million): Simply put, I don’t trust his knees or ankles until he proves he can finish more than one game a week.

My Lineup:

Harris and Darren CollisonĀ (11.5 million). Collison will play, according to all sites, so I want him in my lineup. He is still a great value.

Shooting Guards:

Bargain:

Ben McLemore, Kings (4.2 million): Mac has played 28 minutes or more in his last four games. He is getting starter’s minutes, and so long as he is, you can’t beat the price. Especially if you want a stud elsewhere.

Worth The Cost:

Klay Thompson, Warriors (7.5 million): His fantasy average is right up there with DeMar DeRozan, yet he is nearly one million cheaper. Thompson seems to be 100 percent, so I will roll with him and that production for the money.

Overpriced:

Monta Ellis, Mavericks (7.5 million): Ellis has eclipsed 30 fantasy points just once since October 30th. Thompson is the same price, and is a much more consistent option.

My Lineup:

McLemore and Thompson (11.7 million)

Small Forwards:

Bargain:

Mirza Teletovic, Nets (4.7 million): Yes, he still comes off the bench, but he has played at least 20 minutes in every game this season. He is a more consistent option than Harrison Barnes, though Barnes has way more upside if you want to take the risk.

Worth The Cost:

Rudy Gay, Kings (8.4 million): It is a light night at SF, and Gay is head and shoulders above everyone else. He should outscored everyone else at the position by ten points or more tonight.

Overpriced:

Andre Iguodala, Warriors (4.7 million): Iggy has fallen out of favor with the coaching staff, and simply is not worth the risk, even at this low price.

My Lineup:

Gay and Chandler Parsons (14.7 million): I went with two sure options at a thin position. Hopefully Parsons comes through again!

Power Forwards:

Bargain:

Kevin Garnett, Nets (4.7 million): He has zero upside, but he has been very consistent this season, which is more than you usually get at this price.

Worth The Cost:

Pau Gasol, Bulls (8.6 million): He is back to dominance with Joakim Noah in the Bulls frontcourt. Comeback player of the year, anyone?

Overpriced:

Nerlens Noel, 76ers (6 million): I still don’t trust that he is 100 percent healthy, and it is yet to be seen whether Michael Carter-Williams will help or hurt his value. Take the wait-and-see approach here.

My Lineup:

Gasol and Zach Randolph (16.4 million): I elected to spend my money at SF and PF tonight instead of chasing Curry. We will see if it pays off!

Center:

Bargain:

Tyson Chandler, Mavericks (6 million): Chandler has averaged nearly 28 fantasy points per game, which is well above what most players who cost this little provide. There are good big money options at center tonight, but Chandler could come close to their numbers at a far lesser cost.

Worth The Cost:

DeMarcus Cousins, Kings (9.8 million): Cousins has not been held to under 30 fantasy points yet this year. This makes him a relatively low risk option.

Overpriced:

Brook Lopez, Nets (7.2 million): The Nets are still limiting his minutes, which makes him a risky play. You can definitely do better at center tonight.

My Lineup:

Chandler (6 million)
