Michael Jordan told Bleacher Report that he still thinks about if he could return to the NBA.
Michael Jordan is 51 years old and hasn’t played in an NBA game since 2003.

However, the greatest player in NBA history says he still occasionally thinks about making a return to the league he once dominated.
From Bleacher Report:
"“Do I ever have thoughts of wishing I could still play the game? Yeah,” he responded. “That’s human nature. But those are short thoughts until I pick up a ball or my knees start to hurt. I’m good. I’m right where I need to be.”That sentiment was clear even before the lunch, when Jordan could be seen earlier that morning taking part in Hornets shootaround on the practice court inside the arena."
A Jordan comeback at 51 would truly be one of the more incredible sports stories we’ve ever seen.
As historically great as Jordan once was, it’s hard to envision any 51-year-old being able to have even a semblance of success at the NBA level. Still, Jordan is Jordan and fans would love to see what he’s capable of at this stage of his life.
But, as Jordan suggested, such a comeback won’t happen for the same reasons many are obviously skeptical he wouldn’t have success in a comeback: his body, as is the case for anyone aging, is deteriorating.
Jordan will stay retired and that’s ultimately for the best.
Jordan won six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls during his 15-year NBA career.
