There have been a handful of issues since the launch of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, however 343 Industries is doing their best to fix the game.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection launched for gamers on the Xbox One on Tuesday, however, the online multiplayer experience has been anything but fun thus far. For many gamers, matchmaking has been a tedious endeavor trying to find games. 343 Industries has now apologized for all the issues and has provided some things they hope will fix the experience.

With many gamers having issues finding players to hop into games with, the multiplayer experience has been the least exciting of the collection. Server fixes have already been offered, but now 343 Industries has taken some other steps in hopes to patch up the debacle.
Through Halo Waypoint, the following update was provided:
"We are aware that while some users are reporting improved Matchmaking experiences, many users have not seen an improvement. As a result, we are temporarily moving to a limited playlist layout that will allow for players to find games faster. We’ll temporarily be removing the following playlists:Team HardcoreRumble PitHalo 4SWAT (rotational)The updated playlist layout will be: Team Halo 2: AnniversaryHalo Championship SeriesTeam SlayerBig Team BattleHalo 2 ClassicHalo 3This concentrated playlist layout will allow players to get into matches faster, and improve overall match times. While we anticipate that concentrating our players into fewer playlists will have an effect on match times, it will not solve all Matchmaking issues. We are currentl investigating CUs and server side tweaks over the next week to address matchmaking issues."
On top of the changes, Executive Producer Daniel Ayoub also issued the following apology: “Players have expressed frustration at poor matchmaking times, or bad experiences in general. This is something we are working 24/7 to isolate and fix….I’d like to personally apologize to you all for the current situation. I can assure you we’re attacking this from all directions from 343 Industries to the Xbox platform, and we won’t rest until it’s what it should be.”
Give 343 Industries credit for being up front with gamers. Despite the less than smooth online launch, they have done their best to keep gamers informed and rectify the issue as quickly as possible.
