College basketball season is upon us on Friday night, and with that, we get our first look at the stud freshmen for the Duke Blue Devils. This group is led by 6-11 center Jahlil Okafor, who was quick to make his presence felt on the floor.

Duke is currently blowing the doors off of Presbyterian in the first half and the play of Okafor has a lot to do with that. His positioning in this offense is key, and on one play early, it set him up for the first point of his career.

Watch in the video below as Okafor takes the pass from fellow freshman Tyus Jones and the low block and proceeds to slam it home to let everyone know that he’s here.

You can definitely expect to see a lot more of that from the freshman as the year goes on and he becomes a nightmare for opponents in the ACC.

It’s only the first night of the season, but we’re gonna overreact anyway and say that Okafor is indeed the real deal.
