Supermodel Kate Upton portrayed the Greek goddess Athena in a recently released ‘Game of War’ commercial.
Mobile gaming is getting bigger and bigger, as evidenced by this latest commercial for the hugely popular Game of War. The first of three commercials featuring supermodel Kate Upton aired during the NFL‘s Thursday night game between the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins, as seen below.

The studio responsible for the game, Machine Zone, has spent over $40 million on a global marketing campaign that clearly knows its audience. Upton strolls in unblemished whites through a chaotic battlefield littered with siege warfare and fire-breathing hydras, inspiring the battle’s leaders to display perfect timing and accuracy in defeating one such hydra.
People seemed confused by the commercial, but we thought it was awesome. If you’re a video game company trying to sell your game, you need action and a pretty face. This commercial has both.
We also want to give the ever-awesome Kate Upton her due as she not only (obviously) looks amazing in this clip, but she also has a little swagger to her. Could this be the start of her branching out for a little acting career? Don’t roll your eyes, people. Crazier things have happened.
