Sunday afternoon the New York Jets, with just one win at the time, welcomed in the Pittsburgh Steelers; and to the shock of many watching, they walked out with the improbable win over one of the hottest teams in the NFL at that point.
After the huge win, though, Jets coach Rex Ryan let his emotions get the better of him and he went on a profanity laced tirade that was caught on camera following the final play in which the Steelers’ Mike Mitchell tried to jump the Jets’ victory formation.
While Ryan had every reason to be upset, he still should not have acted in such a manner, and because of that, he’s been fined the sun of $100,000 by the league.
This really isn’t something that we already didn’t see coming, as you knew Ryan was going to get hit in the wallet for his actions.
Ryan and the Jets will look to get their third win of the season next weekend when they take on the division rival Buffalo Bills.
