The Connecticut Hiskies cut the nets down last year when Shabazz Napier, Kevin Olie and company proved the doubters wrong as they won the national title in men’s college basketball and tonight they’ll get these championship rings

UConn men’s team will get their championship rings tonight as they being their title defense this year when they host the Bryant Bulldogs.

Shabazz Napier led UConn to an improbable Final Four run where they knocked off John Calipari’s Kentucky Wildcats as he was named the Most Outstanding Player after the 60-54 win over Kentucky when he referred to his team as the “Hungry Huskies” and Napier etched his name along the likes of Richard Hamilton, Ray Allen and Kemba Walker among the all-time greats in program history.

Napier won his second national title at UConn last year so now he’ll add this ring to his collection and his teammates will get their first of what they hope won’t be their last ring.

Check out the look in this picture below.

Pretty sleek and nice without the gaudy look that many rings are in the professional sports arena. I like it, but what do you think of the ring? Let us know in the comments section below, and while you’re there let us know who makes up your Final Four this year.

Can Olie lead the Huskies back to the Final Four this year despite Napier playing in the NBA after he was the first round pick of the Miami Heat?

Napier is averaging a little more than 20 minutes per game and four points and 2.6 assists on the season.
