The players were riding the elevator atĀ the Hilton Tucson East hotel, when they got trapped.
That sucks, right? Hopefully none of the players were claustrophobic.
The players were eventuallyĀ removed from the elevator ā one by one ā by the local fire department.
From Tuscon TV station KGUNĀ on Facebook:
"9OYS viewer Eric Hatcher just sent us this photo of nine (yes, nine) Washington Huskies, here for tomorrowās football game, stuck in an elevator at the Hilton Tucson East hotel. Tucson Fire had to come remove them, one by one. Seriously."

Next time, maybe it would be a good idea to take the stairs.
The Huskies are nine-point underdogs against the Arizona WildcatsĀ today. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET. Hopefully the team has more success getting to the stadium than they did getting to the lobby the night before.
