As the Alabama Crimson Tide and Mississippi State Bulldogs get ready for a key college football showdown this weekend, one GameDay sign in particular trolled the Bulldogs and their program’s history.
Which is it? Are you persuaded by ‘what have you done for me lately’ as the most important measure? Or should we be more focused on the here and now and which team is on top at the present moment?

Those questions stand at the crux of the trash talk in advance of today’s crucial SEC showdown between Alabama and Mississippi State. Dak Prescott and the top-ranked Bulldogs are the kings at the moment, but Alabama has the historical accomplishments of their program to point to. In either case, the program can legitimately make a ‘scoreboard’ argument.
Along those lines, this Alabama fan seems to have put forth one of the best efforts so far with this GameDay sign: ’15 rings ahead of you,’ with the Alabama ‘A’ logo to boot.
Your wit is only outdone by your smug and arrogant attitude, good sir.
For those of us watching from afar, half of the fun of these SEC showdowns is the impassioned trash talk from the fan bases. That is certainly on fine display this week between Alabama and Mississippi State.
