The Cleveland Cavaliers got a tough road-win over the Boston Celtics on Friday night. For one young fan in the stands t the TD Garden, the night will be unforgettable.
Cavaliers superstar LeBron James was walking off the court right past him, and the kid stuck out his hand innocently looking for a high-five as he walked by. James, who is a father with kids of his own, recognized the opportunity to do something special for the kid.
Instead, he took off his headband and gave it to the fan. He then rubbed his head and patted him on the shoulder. It looks like the man with him, who I’d assume is his father, is ecstatic and thrilled for his son. The kid though seems like he is still in shock and trying to process the whole situation.
If you notice, the father was holding a Sharpie, hoping for an autograph, which they didn’t get. Still, the father seems more focused on the excited kid then LeBron and that is amazing, and an incredible father.
