This will cover the games that kickoff between 3:30 and 6:30 pm eastern.

Oklahoma(-13.5) at Texas Tech: Oklahoma is not the offensive juggernaut that they could be. This line is also way down because Trevor Knight is out. I am expecting a revert to the running game of earlier this season, especially with Keith Ford back. The Sooners might not hit ten pass attempts the whole game because they won’t have to throw. Does anyone remember what Arkansas did to these guys? Exactly. Oklahoma will run all over Tech, and cover the spread.

Georgia Southern at Navy(-2.5): This will be a fun one to watch if you like option football. I still like Georgia Southern’s option a bit better, but I don’t trust them on the road. Give me Navy.

(1)Mississippi State at (5)Alabama(-9.5): This line is growing, but I’m not so sure it should be. This is not the dominant Alabama defense of 2011 or 2012. Alabama might win, but I have my doubts about that too. At any rate, they definitely won’t cover. Give me the Bulldogs and the points.

Memphis(-9.5) at Tulane: Memphis has proven time and time again what they are capable of. This is too low. Give me the Tigers.

(16)Nebraska at (20)Wisconsin(-6.5): This is a tough one. Wisconsin is playing like the team that everyone thought they would be to open the season. Nebraska has looked good at times, and they have looked awful like they did against Purdue. This should be a one score game like the spread indicates. I just hope it’s a field goal, because I am going with Nebraska. Ameer Abdullah deserves the Heisman this year, but the short-sighted voters won’t give it to him.

Northwestern at (18)Notre Dame(-17.5): I don’t like that half. In fact, I don’t like this line at all. Northwestern has a solid defense, and after watching what Arizona State forced Golson into, I have to believe the Wildcats can force a couple of mistakes as well. This is too many. Give me Northwestern.

Middle Tennessee State(-4.5) at Florida International: FIU has played pretty well at home, but I just think MTSU is a much better team. Give me the Blue Raiders.

Indiana at Rutgers(-7.5): Am I missing something? I know that the Hoosiers have lost a lot since Nate Sudfeld went down, but Rutgers has given up nearly 200 per game on the ground, and Indiana has one of the top 15 backs in the country in Tevin Coleman. Give me Indiana for my lock of the afternoon!

Washington at (14)Arizona(-9.5): This looks low, especially with the game in Tucson. Give me Arizona.

New Mexico at Utah State(-18.5): This line is all over the place. It started at 16.5, and is now as high as 21 in some places, yet as low as 15.5 in others. The Aggie defense has been solid, and the Lobos have struggled lately. Give me Utah State.

Kentucky at Tennessee(-10.5): Wow! And this is without Justin Worley? This line is way off. Georgia bludgeoned Kentucky, but Tennessee won’t be able to. Give me the Wildcats.

Hawaii at San Jose State(-9.5): You know the drill. When Hawaii is on the mainland, they get covered. SJSU it is!

Troy at Idaho(-5.5): Is Troy this bad? I doubt it. Give me the Trojans.

(23)Utah at Stanford(-8.5):Uhhhh……no. Utah straight up.

Come back for my picks for the late games!
