The Chicago Bulls will be without Derrick Rose tonight agains the Indiana Pacers, and Chicago fans on Twitter are very sad about that.
Derrick Rose was once the MVP of the NBA but it’s been almost two years since he’s been able to consisntely stay on the court. That’s something of a problem when you have a $96 million max contact and you’ve honored a grand total of none of it since signing the deal. Rose was hobbled even throughout the 2012 season before he started blowing out his ligaments, and now that he can’t stay healthy the patience with him is running incredibly thin.

Word that Rose is out again tonight against the Indiana Pacers is news that has depressed basketball fans everywhere and made Chicago a very sad city. The Bears are terrible, there’s no baseball to cry about and the Blackhawks are still too early on in their season to really start caring about.
This leaves a broken Derrick Rose to represent a broken and sad city, as fans are taking to Twitter with everything from pain, to sadness and anger over Rose’s continued string of injuries.

Rose is also apparently a letdown to humanity.
Sadly, this might be the best explanation on why Derrick Rose is never healthy:
