The South Carolina Gamecocks went on the road to the Swamp on Saturday to take on the Florida Gators and things nearly went horribly wrong on their little road trip. However, they were able to walk away with the win in overtime, thanks to the legs of Dylan Thompson.
Yes, you read that correctly.
After South Carolina tied the game near the end of regulation, Florida scored first with a field goal in the extra period. Needing a touchdown to win, Thompson gave Gamecocks fans what they wanted.

At one point, South Carolina actually held a 10-0 lead, but they let that get away. Florida would eventually take a 17-10 fourth quarter lead, but Thompson and the Gamecocks were able to get job done in the end.
Now you have to wonder, did Dylan Thompson cost Will Muschamp his job at Florida?
