The Mississippi State Bulldogs will look to stake their biggest claim to their No. 1 ranking on Saturday when they go into Tuscaloosa to take on the Alabama Crimson Tide. On such a special occasion like this for the Bulldogs, you would assume that they would make some sort of statement with their uniforms, like most teams do these days.
Oh, they’re making a statement, alright. They’re stating that they want to be in the running for the award given to the team that wears the ugliest cleats in the history of football.
When Dak Prescott and the rest of the Mississippi State team take the field against the Tide, they will be wearing these Adidas shoes that are…well, interesting, to say the least.
What in the name of everything CLANGA are these things? Also, who made the call that this was a good decision to add to the uniform for the biggest game maybe in school history that will be broadcast on national television?
Whatever the case may be, Mississippi State better hope that they’re everything today against Alabama that these shoes state, or they’ll be kissing that top ranking goodbye, along with their dignity for wearing these.
