Arian Foster Expected Back In Week 12
By Hayden Kane
The Houston Texans will be without Arian Foster due to a groin injury in week 11, but head coach Bill O’Brien expects the star running back to return in week 12.
When the Houston Texans take the field for their week 11 game against the Cleveland Browns, they will be ushering in the Ryan Mallett era at the quarterback position. In order for Mallett to be successful, it would sure help if the team could have star running back Arian Foster there to shoulder the offensive load.

Unfortunately that won’t be an option. Foster will miss week 11 with a groin injury, meaning that Alfred Blue will lead the way in the backfield. There is a silver lining, however, as Foster is not expected to miss any additional time after this game.
According to Bob Holtzman:
When the injury happened, it was clear that Foster thought it was serious based on his reaction. One does not usually slam his helmet to the ground in disgust if he feels like the injury is just a minor tweak. In the grand scheme of things, a two-week injury was probably not a bad outcome for Foster and the Texans.
Foster has 822 yards rushing and seven touchdowns this season.
