After a 22-7 loss to the St. Louis Rams on Sunday, the last thing you’d expect said losing team to do would be to visit with fans outside after the game. The Denver Broncos made it the first thing they did after exiting the stadium. Class all the way.
With snowy weather outside and having to deal with a loss, maybe the last thing an NFL fan wants to do is stick around and see the players, even if those players are the team you root for. However, quarterback Peyton Manning and the Broncos stopped and visited with Broncos fans who waited for the team outside after the loss.
This wasn’t just one fan either. As you can see from the above picture, there were a lot of fans out there waiting. The weather was bad but those were some die-hard fans. Most players just want to get on the bus and get out of town after a road loss. Heck, after a win this season even the Broncos seemed to be in a less giving mood.
After a victory over the San Diego Chargers, Manning took time to call out the scoreboard operator. Some found it petty or ill-timed, especially given his team had just won. Today it was after their worst loss of the season. This was a great way of beginning to move on though. Nice move Broncos!
