The Denver Broncos will be starting C.J. Anderson this week even with the return of Montee Ball thanks to Anderson having an impressive outing last week, churning out 90 yards.

Although the Broncos are 7-2 they have yet to find a capable running attack this year, ranking 25th in the league in rushing yards per game. They are hoping that turning the ball to C.J. Anderson for a second week will help out the rush game.
Anderson, who on 25 less attempts has the same amount of yards as Ball, is a second-year 23-year-old back out of California who had more than 160 yards from scrimmage last week including his 90 rushing yards.
The Broncos are currently playing the St. Louis Rams and Ball will serve as the backup to Anderson since Ronnie Hillman remains out due to a foot injury and Juwan Thompson will remain the teams third string back.
If Anderson does struggle on the ground, you can expect Manning to get him involved in the passing game. However, the Rams allow almost 125 yards on the ground a game, bad enough for 25th in the league so maybe Anderson will have a good enough game to claim the permanent starting position in Denver.
