Needless to say, the Packers came into this game looking to make a statement. They had this exact same type of start against the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football last week and ended up winning by a final score of 55-14. Green Bay is proving that they should be taken seriously as contenders in the NFC, and defeating the Eagles would be a great start to doing just that.
Take a look at the beer shower that Hyde received from fans after his touchdown:

If the Packers can keep playing the type of football that they have been today, this game is going to get ugly just like the Bears game did. Hyde has ended up being a huge steal for the Packers, and is going to be a major key for them throughout the rest of the season. Green Bay has come out to prove a point this afternoon, and they are doing just that already in the first half.
