Mike Evans Catches Another Big Touchdown (Video)
Mike Evans is having a career high day for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as he catches his second big touchdown.
Mike Evans is on fire today, and has already hooked up with Josh McCown for 209 yards and two touchdowns. His most recent catch came on this 56-yard bomb, perfectly placed by McCown, hitting Mike Evans in stride for the big score.
It was Mike Evans’ seventh reception of the game, he’s averaging almost 30 yards per reception today as he annihilates the Washington Redskins defense. McCown and Mike Evans first hooked up in the third quarter for a 36-yard touchdown pass and catch before hooking up for another big one in the fourth quarter.

The touchdown gave the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a 27-7 lead over the Redskins early in the fourth quarter. Josh McCown is playing very well after returning from injury this week with 13 completions for 268 yards and two touchdowns so far in the contest.
The Bucs are just 1-8 this season but with the way McCown and Mike Evans are playing they’re looking to make it their second win today after losing in five straight games.
With the game he’s having so far, Mike Evans has jumped into the lead for the top rookie wide receiver in yards over Kelvin Benjamin. After Benjamin recorded a touchdown catch today, Mike Evans still trails by one touchdown for rookie receiver touchdowns with seven as Benjamin has eight. We’ll see if Mike Evans can tie that up before the game ends.
