The Green Bay Packers are a scoring machine. Last week on Sunday Night Football they scored 55 on the Chicago Bears. On Sunday, they scored 53 on the Philadelphia Eagles. They are truly the hottest offensive team in the NFL. Their fire might melt the frozen tundra.
It was one thing to lay more than 50 on a struggling Bears team last week but to put more than 50 against the Eagles, one might not have seen that one coming. Either way, it was the first time the Packers had ever scored 50 points or more in back to back games. That’s saying something given the players that have come through the town of slightly more than 100,000 people.
Fans all over Twitter though loved what they were seeing. Even if you aren’t a Packers fan but just an NFL fan, you have to appreciate what the Packers have accomplished the last two weeks.
Great point in that last tweet. Not only are they putting up record points, they are keeping their players healthy. They had 30 points by halftime. Getting most of those points early allows the Packers to rest their starters for a good part of the second half. That will help down the stretch.
