Denver Broncos Don’t Expect Peyton Manning To Retire
By Josh Hill
The Denver Broncos are hoping that they can get back to the Super Bowl this year, but they’re also hoping — and expecting — Peyton Manning will return in 2015.
When Peyton Manning made it back to the Super Bowl for the third time in his career last season, there was immediate talk about riding off into the sunset at the top of his game should the Broncos win. Needless to say, the didn’t win and Manning is back for another season.

But with the Broncos flying high in the AFC, there is once again talk of Manning going out on top and retiring if the Broncos win the Super Bowl. So far, that’s not something that the team seems too concerned about as Denver is expecting Manning back no matter what in 2015.
Ian Rapoport reports that the Broncos expect Manning to play one more season with the team before he retires and walks away from the game.
Rapoport does report though that the only way Manning walks away from the game this year would be if he won the Super Bowl.
Getting Manning back in 2015 would be huge for the Broncos as they’re not really ready to transition to Brock Osweiler just yet. There hasn’t even been the notion of transitioning in Denver yet, which would make a Manning retirement seem abrupt.
Things are going so well for the Broncos and Manning is playing like it’s 2004 again, which is why the idea of him retiring while seemingly still at the top of his game is something no one is considering even if it’s creeping into the minds of those running Broncos.
