Taylor Hall returns in time for Edmonton-Arizona matchup
The Edmonton Oilers may have lost their first game against the Arizona Coyotes, but they don’t plan on making that mistake twice.

The team has confirmed that forward Taylor Hall, who has been out with a knee injury for the past six games, will return to the team’s lineup Sunday night as they return home from their five-game road trip.
Hall hasn’t confirmed where he’ll be slotted in the lineup yet; although he could play with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Jordan Eberle (as per usual), he thinks that Benoit Pouliot has done an impressive job in his absence. If that line is playing well together, he could hop on with another duo to spread the talent among more lines.
The Oilers are heading into the game tonight, which they will host in Edmonton, sitting just one point behind the Coyotes in a battle for the bottom of the Pacific Division. The Oilers have lost their past two games, but the Coyotes — who beat the Vancouver Canucks in a 5-0 shutout Friday night — have struggled nearly as much as the Oilers themselves.
The Arizona team, who will be debuting Portland Pirates forward Lucas Lessio for the first time this season, are in the midst of their own Western Conference road trip; hopefully, the addition of Hall will give Edmonton the edge they need to earn those extra two points.
Of course, if the Coyotes push the game past regulation, the Oilers will be unable to move ahead into the sixth place spot regardless of the final outcome.
