It appeared as if the Tennessee Titans might be in trouble early on Monday night against the Steelers, but Bishop Sankey made sure that wouldn’t be the case.

The Tennessee Titans did not start off their Monday night contest with the Steelers in the most promising way. After the Steelers hit an early field goal, Zach Metterberger was picked off by William Gay, an interception that was taken back for a score that put the Titans in a 10-7 hole.

Well, it seemed like all hope was lost until rookie Bishop Sankey came to the rescue.

After the pick-6 the Titans got the ball back and the offense settled in. Mettenberger got Tennessee in the red zone, and that was where it was time for Sankey to take over.

Watch in the video below as Sankey runs one in from nine yards out to pull the Titans to within 10-7.

The Titans needed that answer, because if they were to fall behind more than 10-0 in the first quarter, that would have been a ton of momentum out the window.

It’s also been nice to see how well Sankey has come along this year.
