The latest AP Poll for College Basketball was released on Monday and there was just one switch in the Top 10 before the year gets underway.

To the delight of many, the college basketball season got officially underway this past Friday, and for the most part, there were little surprises. Well, there was nothing that happened that would shake up the top of the rankings significantly, although that doesn’t mean there wasn’t any movement at all.

Despite both opening their season with wins, the Louisville Cardinals jumped from the No. 8 spot to No. 7, overtaking the Florida Gators.

Florida opened their season with a win William and Mary, however Rick Pitino and the Cardinals came away with the more impressive victory, taking down his son and the reigning NIT Champion Minnesota Golden Gophers. Again, it’s a switch to look at, but really nothing significant at this point.

But the important part is that we are underway, and with that, here is a look at the latest college basketball AP Poll heading into this week.
