TMZ had the scoop on Dez’s partying, posting a number of pictures of Bryant and others celebrating their new business partnership. Dez was sporting a new chain in the pictures, one presumably gifted to him by Roc Nation as it bore the agency’s logo.
Once the partying is over, Bryant can get back to helping the Dallas Cowboys make the playoffs for the first time since 2009 and Roc Nation can get back to trying to make Dez one of the highest-paid receivers in the league.
Bryant has warned the Cowboys in the past not to test his loyalty and the team would be wise to adhere to those words. The NFL is a brutal business and given the nature of contracts in the league, it’s safe to say Dez will want his money and he’ll want it guaranteed.
This contract will be his biggest shot at setting up the rest of his life so don’t expect Bryant or Roc Nation to take these negotiations lightly, even if they do like to have a little fun on the side.
