Miami Heat rookie Shabazz Napier completely made veterans Kevin Garnett and Deron Williams look like goofs on Monday night.

Last season during UConn’s run to the national championship, the world was introduced to the ball-handling skills of Shabazz Napier. This past June in the NBA Draft, the Miami Heat drafted the point guard to bring those talents to South Beach and help the defending Eastern Conference champions.
On Monday night against the Brooklyn Nets, Napier put those ball-handling skills out for everyone to see, and he made two pretty prominent veterans of the NBA look silly in the process.
Watch in the video below as Napier has the ball at the top of the court and, quite frankly, Kevin Garnett and Deron Williams have absolutely no idea what to do.
Now for a rookie to do that, you know he has some talent. The scary part is that he’s only going to develop more from here as time goes on and he’ll then continue to make opponents completely confused, no matter how long they’ve been in the league or what they’ve accomplished.
The Heat seem to have a pretty good one at the point for the next few years.
