Steelers vs. Titans Final Score: Le’Veon Bell Stampedes Pittsburgh To 27-24 Win
By Josh Hill
The Pittsburgh Steelers have had a rocky season, and their win over the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night was reflective of the team’s up and down nature in 2014.
When the Pittsburgh Steelers saw the Tennessee Titans on the schedule this week, the last thing they thought was going to happen was a comeback win. That’s what was needed to get past the Titans on Monday though, and it’s reflective of this up and down season the Steelers have been having so far.

Le’Veon Bell was running angry tonight, as he went for over 200 yards on 33 carries to help erase a 24-13 Titans lead at one point in the game. Zach Mettenberger had his first really good game of his career, throwing for 263 yards and a pair of nice touchdown passes. IN the end though, the power of the running game was all the Steelers needed, as Bell’s career night was what Pittsburgh needed to get past the Titans.
The more depressing side of things is that the Steelers needed to get past the Titans — they didn’t just glide there anyways on their own. That’s discouraging, to say the least, but the Steelers are still 7-4 and in a position to take sole possession of first place after their bye week next Sunday.
It’s still a long road to the Super Bowl for the Steelers, but they have it in them to be contenders and this win tonight was one they needed to get and they found a way to make it happen.
