Week 11 was an odd one overall with low-scoring fantasy outputs across the board and some strong performances from unexpected places. Many of the top players in week 11 have been on this list in the recent past meaning if you’ve stayed active and made good pickups you’re team is trending the right direction as the regular season starts to wind down.
This week, the NFL’s bye wee schedule wraps up with just the Steelers and Panthers taking the week off. If you need replacement for your Carolina or Pittsburgh starters or are just looking to upgrade, check out the top ten pickups from the waiver wire week 12 on the following slides.
First though–a couple of ground rules, in this weekly post we highlight the top ten players who are widely available heading into the following week. To help keep the list stocked with realistic options, only players who are available in over half of ESPN leagues are eligible. That means great pickup alumni like C.J. Anderson, Mike Evans, Jerick McKinnon, Denard Robinson, Kelvin Benjamin, Martavis Bryant, Odell Beckham Jr., and Justin Forsett aren’t on this list even though they should be picked up if they’re still available in your league. If you have any roster-specific questions, the fastest way to get them answered is to ask us @FansidedFantasy on twitter.
All references to points are based on ESPN standard scoring unless otherwise noted. The percentages included after the players team is their ownership percentage as of Monday after week 11. To help as many owners as possible, at least one player is included from each primary position–QB, RB, WR, TE, and team defense. Stay tuned to our Fantasy football hub for more coverage throughout the week as we delve deeper into each position.
One more quick preliminary note: Josh Gordon is a no-brainer pickup this week and Adrian Peterson is definitely worth the risk if either one is available in your league. They are too owned for this list, but both players have elite-tier value and should be owned in all leagues.
