Just in case you forgot, Josh Gordon was the best WR in fantasy football in 2013. He had an eye-popping 1,646 yards receiving to go along with his 87 receptions and 9 touchdowns in 14 games.
Gordon was drafted by some owners before the season started. Other owners picked him up when news broke of his reduced 10 game suspension. Some were even able to pick him up in recent weeks. To my surprise, he is currently owned in 77% of Yahoo! leagues. He should be owned in 100% of leagues. If you are in a league where Gordon is on the wire, put your claim in ASAP.

It is still unclear what Gordon’s role will be in this run heavy offense. Currently, the Browns have the 5th highest run-to-pass percentage in the league at 49.84%.Only the Texans, Seahawks, Chiefs and Cowboys rank ahead of them. Gordon should be involved in big plays via the play-action pass.
Gordon owners will look for him to be an immediate WR1. It is unclear if Gordon is in football shape, but we will find out soon enough. Gordon will have the pleasure of facing the worst pass defense in the league on Sunday. The Falcons are giving up a league high 281 yards passing per game. Following the Falcons, the Browns play at the Bills, home to the Colts, home to the Bengals and at the Panthers. Gordon will have a fantasy impact for sure. It’s just how much that will make the difference for fantasy owners in their quest for a championship.
