Oh, and just when you thought you had seen it all, more images made their way to the internet that revealed full frontal of the Armenian beauty. You’re welcome.
Unfortunately, not everyone is as amused with her recent photo shoot as you may think. Soon after the images made their way to the internet, people like Glee star Naya Rivera took to Instagram to remind Mrs. Kanye West that she is someone’s mother and should act as such.
After all the frenzy that has surrounded the photo shoot, we are finally hearing from Kim Kardashian herself. Kardashian stopped by an Australian television show called The Project to discuss the shoot and explain what drove her to do the shoot.
She told the hosts that she considered the shoot an “art project” for herself. According to the Huffington Post, the idea came to her while she was still very much pregnant with her baby girl North West.
"“I looked back at a clip of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ last season and I was really heavily pregnant, I was about eight months pregnant, and I looked at my sisters and said, ‘You guys, when I feel like I have my body back, I’m doing a nude shoot,'”"
She went on to say that she found it an honor to work with photographer Jean-Paul Goude and how the shoot made her feel more confident about herself.
"“When I got the opportunity to work with the photographer Jean-Paul Goude, who photographs everyone nude, thats his thing, I was so honored and excited to work with him, because he is a legend. And for me that was something I knew I wanted to do to make myself feel confident.” – Huffington Post"
Kardashian also addressed the whole “role model” issue and stressed that everyone should do what they feel comfortable with.
"“To each his own, as you were saying, as a role model I’m not saying anyone else should do that, but for me, I did it as an art project that was going to make me feel confident and feel good. And It taught me to do what you want to do.” She told the hosts.“Everyone should do what they they are comfortable with, and I’m never one to preach, but I felt really positive and really good about myself,” she added. “I love the photos, I did it for me, I hope other people like them.”"
Some may be surprised to hear that money wasn’t a factor here, but it is not entirely out of the realm of reasoning that a woman who has always been known by her seemingly perfect figure to get a little self-conscious when they are eight months pregnant and they feel like they are never going to get their body back.
As you can tell from the images Kim has more than got her groove back, and if this is what it took to make her feel confident about herself and get back into her own personal groove then so be it. If you get tired of seeing it, you can always keep on scrolling just like you do when you see your thousandth Facebook meme of the day.
