Tiger Woods Upset At Golf Digest For Publishing Fake Interview

Tiger Woods is mad about an unpublished fake interview with Golf Digest, even though no one’s seen or talked about it until now.

Tiger Woods or Tiger Woods’ people found a recent story in Golf Digest magazine, but since it hasn’t been published online yet, no one has been talking about it. Implying that no one reads Golf Digest and peruses the Internet, except Tiger Woods.

Well as things would turn out, we would come to find out that the interview with Tiger was in fact not real, and he took his anger to the Players’ Tribune to be expressed.

Tiger Woods was mad enough about the fake interview to post a rebuttal on Derek Jeter’s new website, as the Big Lead revealed. An excerpt of Tiger’s anger is as follows.

"Did you read Dan Jenkins’ interview with me in the latest Golf Digest? I hope not. Because it wasn’t me. It was some jerk he created to pretend he was talking to me. That’s right, Jenkins faked an interview, which fails as parody, and is really more like a grudge-fueled piece of character assassination."

No, Tiger, I didn’t and apparently neither did anyone else. However, now that Tiger Woods and his team have gone on the offensive, it’s pretty easy to guess that the story will soon be all over the Internet and everyone will either get a Golf Digest issue or the magazine will publish it so everyone can see it.

Of course, it’s not like it’s obviously a parody or anything, as this “interview” shows.

"Dan: “Why haven’t you fired Steiny, by the way? You’ve fired everybody else …”Tiger: “I’ll probably get around to it. I like to fire people …”Dan: “In many cases, tips are a part of their salary.”Tiger: “So let ‘em go find a better job.”Dan: “Marko (O’Meara) was your best friend in golf at one time.”Tiger: “I’m sorry. I can’t place him. Did he play the tour?”"
