The Kentucky Wildcats are playing the Kansas Jayhawks in a huge match-up on Tuesday night. As Kentucky pulled away early, Willie Cauley-Stein threw down an incredible put-back dunk.
When you play Kentucky, you know what you are going to get. There are going to be a bunch of good young players, and most of those players are going to be crazy athletic.

That is apparent even when the Wildcats are playing another team with blue chip talent like Kansas. Even against an opposing team with some of the best athletes in the country, the bounce and speed of Kentucky players still stands out from the rest.
For the most recent example of that fact, consider this put-back dunk from Willie Cauley-Stein.
In case you didn’t notice, there was somebody else there. Cauley-Stein cared not, and he threw down the dunk anyway.
Kentucky’s roster construction does not always work out for them, but plays like this one show the intrigue that surrounds them each and every year. When you have a roster of guys who can make plays like that one, you are always going to be in the conversation.
And hey, even if the team does not end up making a title run, at least you get to see entertaining highlights like this one.
