Cam Newton’s Twitter account was hacked the other night because he had the worst password in the history of Twitter.

This week saw Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton get his twitter account hacked, which was hilarious since he trolled Richard Sherman in a way he probably agrees with but had to distance himself from.

Almost instantly after his account was hacked, everyone began to wonder just how Newton’s password was hacked, and where whoever hacked it managed to get their hands on an Enigma code breaker. As it turns out, there really wasn’t much thought required to hack into Newton’s account, as he had a mind numbingly easy password to hack.

According to Cam Newton himself, his Twitter password was pretty much the worst password you could ever imagine — unless you’re under the age of 10.

So…’123456′ was taken?

In all seriousness, maybe this is why celebrities get hacked so much. Cam Newton had no nude photos to exploit like we saw with other celebrities this summer, but his password was ridiculously easy to hack which begs the question of why it wasn’t hacked before now?
