Cutting Blount shouldnāt come as a surprise after all his past antics, which include punching an opposing player in the face:

Although Blount has bounced around and will be on his fourth team in five years, heās a solid, proven NFL running back. Heās a big, physical runner, who has the speed to break a big play here and there. For a team looking to sure up their backfield, Blount is the guy.
Plus, Blount is a capable kick returner, and heās a much better option than any other running backs on the market. Ben Tate was also cut by the Cleveland Browns, but itās a night and day difference between Tate and Blount. Blountās obviously the best player available to help a team make the playoffs.
