2. Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers haven’t been anywhere close to their expectations this season, and their offense has been struggling in a big way. Part of the issue is that the Panthers allowed nearly every legitimate target that Cam Newton had from last season leave in the offseason, and they only brought in Kelvin Benjamin as a legitimate replacement. Another issue has been the lack of a ground attack, and Marshawn Lynch would be a fix for that.

Lynch would fit into the Panthers’ hard-nosed style of play very well, and Carolina could thrive with Newton and Lynch pounding away on the ground. It would be a perfect match, and they would lean very heavily on Lynch. He would like the heavy workload, but it might shorten his career a bit with the type of usage that he would receive.

Carolina would have a legitimate chance to get back to being a prominent fixture in the NFC playoff race by signing Lynch. He would add exactly the type of offensive firepower that they have been missing, and would help turn their offense around. The Panthers should be one of the first teams to make a call to Lynch’s agent in an attempt to convince him to join their roster.
