P.J. Blue may or may not have ever spoken to God, but the highly-sought after recruit felt that speaking with Alabama coach Nick Saban is the next best thing.

P.J. Blue is one of the most sought after recruits of the Class of 2016. Still growing, the 6’4, 201-pound outside linebacker from Jemison, Ala. has already received offers from Clemson and UAB, yet nothing could compare to talking with Alabama coach Nick Saban.
Blue was on campus last weekend for Alabama’s win over Mississippi State and was also able to meet with Saban, an experience that was pretty holy in the mind of Blue.
"“It was almost like talking to God…. Alabama has great facilities and it makes you want to go there instantly. But there’s more to it than just facilities and I’m going to have to look at it more.”"
Wow. Is it now the holy quartet of the Father, Son, Holy Ghost and the Coach From Alabama?
To Blue’s defense, he did say “almost,” so Crimson Tide fans can hold off on applying Saban’s name for sainthood. There’s also the fact that facilities alone aren’t going to sway him as well. In short, this young man has more than a year to tour other schools, which will allow Blue to put together his own poll of which coaches are closest to talking to God.
Blue is currently a four-star recruit who is ranked as the fifth-best player in Alabama and is 105th overall according to Rivals.com. He ranks as the nation’s tenth-best outside linebacker in the 2016 class.
