It was obvious from the get go that the Pacers were out to prove a point, and they did just that against their former teammates. The game was controlled by Charlotte for the majority of the way, but the Pacers just kept scratching away and finally pulled out the win on a last second buzzer beating lay-in by Solomon Hill. Rodney Stuckey was blocked by Stephenson with just a couple seconds left before Hill grabbed the ball and laid it in with no time remaining.
Take a look at the game-winning shot for yourself:
Needless to say, that was a huge play for the Pacers and it helped them make a statement against their former teammate. The entire team was very impressive in the win, and they stayed with it despite going down early and allowing a huge run to the Hornets.
Indiana may not be a title contending team, but they are certainly one of the hardest working teams in the league.
