Carter appreciated the tribute very much and it was obvious that he got a bit emotional towards the end. He had some great seasons in Toronto with the Raptors, and it is very obvious that neither he or the Raptors fans have forgotten what he meant to that city. There aren’t many players that get tribute videos made about them while they’re still playing the game, but Carter was given that honor this evening.
Take a look at the tribute video and Carter’s reaction for yourself:
Needless to say, this was a very special moment for Carter that he will never forget for the rest of his life. It shows exactly how much he has meant to the Raptors’ franchise, and he will forever be remembered as one of the players that paved the way for Toronto to have NBA success. Toronto is now one of the best teams in the NBA, and perhaps one day Carter will sign with the Raptors to finish out his career where he belongs.
