Get previews and predictions for all of the NFL’s week 12 games with the Armchair Quarterback’s Guide to the NFL.

Welcome to the week 12 edition of the Armchair Quarterback’s Guide to the NFL. Every week I break down each of the NFL’s head to head match ups and give you a preview and prediction for the game. I take into consideration things like previous head to head match ups, how the teams’ strengths and weaknesses align, and mix in a little of my own gut instincts.

I have mixed feelings on last week’s games. On one hand, I had a bad week going 6-8 on my picks. On the other hand, two of the games I missed on were the Sea/KC game and the Den/StL game. As a Chiefs fan those are misses I can live with. Regardless, my season total now stands at 103-57-1. That’s pretty “middle of the pack” if you look at the records of the guys that pick games on other websites. Hopefully I’ve got a nice stretch run in me and can get back to the front of the pack where I was last season.

This week’s slate of games is kind of a mixed bag. There are some games that look like a definite mismatch on paper and then there are a handful of games that are really hard to get a read on. We’ll start things off with the Thursday night match up between Kansas City and Oakland.
