Thursday night the Duke Blue Devils are taking on the North Carolina Tar Heels in some ACC action, as the Blue Devils try to continue their string of recent success on the football field.
Because of the success of the football program recently, which includes a Coastal Division title last season and a trip to the ACC Championship Game, Duke Football has become serious business in Durham. Not as serious as basketball, which is impossible, but hey, they’re garnering some good attention.
Now if you need proof of just how serious Duke football is as of late, here, let graduate assistant coach Chris Hoover show you with his actions in the locker room pregame.
Yeah, buddy! Would you have maybe saw that type of excitement in a Duke football locker room 10 years ago? Five years ago? Probably not, but under the direction of David Cutcliffe, this is a different program now.
In all seriousness, though, as cool as that was to see, Hoover is lucky that chair didn’t take a bad bounce and nail one of the players.
