Rex Ryan Says No Big Deal If Buffalo Bills Don’t Practice
By Cory Buck
New York Jets coach Rex Ryan said they’re familiar enough with the Buffalo Bills, and vice versa, that the Bills missing practice won’t be a big deal.
The Buffalo Bills remain unable to practice as Western New York remains shrouded beneath a record-setting blanket of snow. Ralph Wilson Stadium is snowed in so bad the team is offering money and game tickets to anyone who can help shovel.

The team didn’t practice on Wednesday and they won’t practice on Thursday in advance of their game against the New York Jets. Fred Jackson called it a disadvantage, but coach Rex Ryan calls it no big deal.
“I think it might be a bigger issue had you [just] not played your opponent,” Ryan said per the Star-Ledger. “We just played three games ago or something, so I don’t know how big an issue it is. Obviously, if the league thinks it’s an issue, they may make an adjustment.”
The teams have until Friday at 1PM to inform the NFL whether or not they can play on Sunday at the same time, but indications are that the snow will taper off some time Friday, leaving time to get the stadium game-ready.
Ryan concluded, “I think once you know your opponent, sometimes there’s times where we just had walkthroughs because you know your opponent pretty well.”
