The Philadelphia Eagles don’t have time to lament on last week’s 53-20 loss at Green Bay, as they take on the Tennessee Titans in what could be a trap game for the NFC East co-leaders.

Tennessee Titans vs Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles have seen both sides of QB Mark Sanchez, and they’re prefer to have the Sanchez who was turnover free in their win over the Carolina Panthers instead of the Sanchez who committed four turnovers at Green Bay. On paper, the matchup against the Tennessee Titans looks like a cakewalk for the 7-3 Eagles, yet Philly can ill afford to overlook a 2-8 team that has the potential to exploit their weakness: a secondary ranked 28th in pass defense.

Keys to Victory
Titans rookie QB Zack Mettenberger has a huge arm and a pair of wideouts (Justin Hunter and Kendall Wright) who can run under his throws. The Eagles have to contain that element of the Tennessee offense or else this game will be much closer than expected. Doing so means LB Connor Barwin — who leads the team with 10.5 sacks — has to be aggressive from the outset. Philly averages 34 points per game at home, which works perfect for them since the Titans have allowed an average of 33 points in a four-game road losing skid.

Prediction
The Eagles need an early knockout of the Titans. It would go a long way toward preparing them for their Thanksgiving tilt against the Dallas Cowboys. They’ll get it.
Final Score: Philadelphia: 38, Tennessee: 19
