In honor of Wisconsin Badgers running back Melvin Gordon’s historic game against Nebraska, someone animated it like the old Tecmo Bowl vide game.

Wisconsin Badgers running back Melvin Gordon had a historic game against Nebraska last week, rushing for 498 yards. He did all that in basically three quarters, and it set the FBS single-game rushing record.
While you might be tired of highlights from that game, get ready for some more but these are incredibly more awesome. How? Because they’re in Tecmo Bowl form!
That’s right, someone took the time to recreate the game and highlights in Tecmo Bowl form. I don’t know who keeps making these, or how they keep making them, but I sure do appreciate the fact that they do. I’ll never get tired of watching them though.
The best part of this “highlight is that it is just Melvin Gordon running around the field in circles with no real sense or purpose, just steam rolling defenders. It is one single run that just seems him demolishing the defense before finally cutting them son slack and scoring a touchdown, putting them out of their misery.
Which is basically how it went in real life.
