The Auburn Tigers may have hit a home run with the hiring of Bruce Pearl to rebuild the men’s basketball program after years and years of living in the shadows of the football program, but Pearl may the right personality to spark some excitement and get the program back to the NCAA Tournament.

One way to generate interest is by winning which Pearl did in the season opener against his former team Milwaukee, and currently sits at 1-1 after losing to Colorado on Nov. 21, but playing to the youth and creating a viral video is never a bad idea either and that’s what he’s done working with Legendary Shots to make this film of him draining trick shots in Auburn Arena.

Pearl has never been shy and his personality has been one of the more infectious and engaging in college basketball, which is why he should do wonders at Auburn and build this program so they can be competitive in the SEC and eventually get back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since they made the Sweet Sixteen in 2003.

No, it won’t come easy or overnight but with Pearl in town, he should make it work. I mean, can it be any harder than draining some of these trick shots he made in the video?
