Darrelle Revis: Megatron Is A Man Among Boys
By Josh Sanchez
Darrelle Revis of the New England Patriots had some high praise for Detroit Lions star Calvin Johnson, who he will have to cover on Sunday afternoon.
If you are a fan of the NFL, one of the best head-to-head matchups you will get in Week 12 will be between New England Patriots cornerback Darrelle Revis and Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson.
Revis has gone against Megatron twice before in his career, and he knows he will have a tough challenge ahead on Sunday afternoon.
“He’s a man amongst boys out there. You see it all the time. The dude’s 6-foot-6, 230 pounds. And he runs a 4.3. That’s pretty freakish,” Revis said.
“It’s like an alternate [universe] receiver that you want. So if you can create him on the video game, that’s basically what he is. I have a lot of respect for him. I feel like our defense has a lot of respect for him. He has a lot of respect around the league as well.”
In the previous two matchups, Johnson has pulled in 8 catches for 128 yards.
Considering the success Megatron has had throughout his professional career, Revis has managed to do a great job.
We will have to see who comes out on top in Darrelle Revis vs. Calvin Johnson III.
