The Cleveland Cavaliers might trade for Norris Cole and Chris Andersen, according to a new report.
A few more of LeBron James’ former Miami Heat teammates could be joining him in Cleveland soon enough.

On the heels of Cavaliers general manager David Griffin saying that no one on the Cavs is “untouchable,” Bleacher Report’s Ethan Skolnick broke down possible trade targets for Cleveland and mentioned Norris Cole and Chris Andersen of the Miami Heat as possibilities.
It makes sense why the Cavs might be interested in Cole and Andersen. Cleveland has had major issues defending this season and both Cole and Andersen are defense-first players.
Cleveland could really use another point guard on their roster, making Cole a fit, as well as another rim-protector, making Andersen a fit.
It certainly would be interesting to see if the Heat would be willing to trade with the Cavaliers, an issue Skolnick brings up.
I tend to believe they wouldn’t engage in discussions with the Cavs. I can’t imagine Pat Riley and Co. want to do anything that would help LeBron win a title after the 29-year-old spurned Miami this offseason.
I imagine it would be especially difficult for Riley to watch LeBron have success with guys that formerly had success with LeBron on his team. Along with James, former Heat players Mike Miller and James Jones are on the Cavs.
But perhaps Riley would put his personal feelings aside and make a trade with the Cavs if he felt it was the best basketball move for his team.
Cole is averaging 7.4 points and 3.5 assists per game this season. Andersen is averaging 2.1 points and 3.3 rebounds per contest.
