Roman Reigns Hates Comparisons To John Cena

Roman Reigns is not much a fan of people comparing him to John Cena, and he let that be known recently.

Although still out recovering from hernia surgery, Roman Reigns is expected to be the next “face” of WWE. Not it goes without saying, but that means he would take the place of the current face, John Cena.

With this comes people comparing the two, although whatever you do, don’t try the comparison game with Roman Reigns, because he will have none of it.

In a recent interview with RGJ.com, the subject was brought up, and Reigns rattled off just a few differences between the two men that completely make sense.

"“Last time I checked, I’m 6’3″ 265 pounds, which is bigger than John Cena. Last time I checked, my hair is long and jet black, and last time I checked John Cena’s isn’t. I’m way better looking and I’m way more athletic than he is so for anybody to compare me to him is completely asinine.”"

Again, all of these points are correct, so the big man does have a point.

Reigns is expected back soon from that surgery recovery, presumably some time in December, just in time for the road to WrestleMania. Current plans reportedly have Reigns taking the title off of Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania next March in California.

So should Reigns become the champion for the first time on the biggest stage of them all, we’ll begin to see just how different the two are when he has WWE creative behind him as the man.
