The Harvard Crimson are playing against the Yale Bulldogs for the Ivy League Championship this week in college football. In related news, the Harvard kicker wears glasses during games.

The college football world took a break from the SEC this week to focus on the Ivy League.

You read that right. College Gameday was there and everything. On an otherwise slow weekend of college football, the game to watch is the Ivy League Championship between the Harvard Crimson and the Yale Bulldogs.

You might assume that the nerd jokes are flying this week surrounding that game. You would be right, save for one caveat: we don’t even have to make the nerd jokes. At least in Harvard’s case, they are making the jokes for us.

One of the best signs of the morning on College Gameday was one that issued a challenge to the Alabama Crimson Tide that Harvard wants a piece of them…in chess. Now we have this picture of the Harvard kicker:

To be clear, I mean this only in good, friendly teasing. I know better than to actually make fun of this guy, because I guarantee he is better than me at any number of things in this life, with kicking a football only the tip of the iceberg.

But seriously, if you had to envision an Ivy League kicker, that is literally exact what he would look like. Sometimes things just work out.
