Sometimes a football isn’t the most important thing that happens on a Saturday afternoon in the fall. The hit was beyond terrifying as the way Waters was hit and went down shook just about everyone that watched it happen. The Virginia sideline was visibly shaken by the hit and Waters’ teammates were even more concerned.
The hit was so bad that Waters had to be taken to the University of Virginia medical center but he was responsive at the very least.

Hits like this happen all the time in football, but the nature of this one seemed to be a little dirty. In addition to that, all it takes is a matter of inches for a normal hit to turn into a devastating one which is the case with this hit on Waters tonight.
